I'm selling my Seiko SR-E10000 dictionary. I recently received an electronic dictionary as a gift and don't want this one to go to waste! I bought this in Fall of 2006 and it's still in like new condition because I've kept it in a case and don't use it quite as much when I'm outside of Japan although it's been a lifesaver in translating class since the DS one doesn't have all words! :p At the time of purchase I spent about $450 USD on it. I have it up at eBay over here (click to see pictures at least), but can complete transactions outside of eBay if preferred though I think eBay is probably the safest bet. :) Details behind the cut!

Thanks for listening and thanks for looking, I noticed some people asking about electronic dictionaries recently and thought this might be a good place to post.. new Japanese made J-E dictionaries of even the cheapest brand start out around $200, at least in my experience. Is anyone playing Darkfall? Kotaku posted an article announcing that Darkfall opened a North American server, but this is the first I've heard of the game.

I'm intrigued by the idea of an entirely PVP system and player-based economy, but I'm disgusted by the idea of free-looting. The graphics look good and the skill-based system sounds awesome, but I'm turned off by the lack of reviews or demos.

Is it worth the $50? Has anyone here tried it? Any pros or cons you wish to discuss?

Okay; my PSP has been acting funky for the last few days.

Background: We switched to a new Cisco by Linksys router (the dual model one), and I got everything set up, configured, everything was just fine, dandy. I set everything up on my PSP, it worked perfectly.

Then three-four days ago, it's saying that the access point isn't there. At all. I checked my wireless settings, everything, made sure everything was working okay.
Then I tried again today. Nothing. I tried scanning, nothing's showing up. I'm getting pretty frustrated, the wireless is working and all, but my PSP seems to refuse to connect. I tried re-booting, popping the battery, taking out the memory, deleting some files. Still nothing for the internet. It still plays games perfectly, does everything ELSE perfectly.
The wireless switch is working, the light comes on when I wanna do something that requires the internet.

But it still refuses to connect, or even reconize the access point.

Help? Thoughts? Or should I give up on my PSP-1000 and get a new one? :( :(

ETA: It's a PSP-1001, not a 1000, by the way. I just checked.

Anyone here planning on playing Aion?  Anyone going to be in the beta this weekend?

I need some advice. I'd really LOVE to play computer games, but I'd prefer a laptop over a desktop. None of my friends are giving me great advice, despite being hardcore PC-gamers. I just want something that'll be able hold just enough, as currently the only PC games I want are the Orange Box Games.

So, any PC-gaming related advice, including computer info, and games too would be great!

Hey guys, just asking about for the hell of it but are there any girls out there who are still in love with fighting games? Recently, I've been playing all on my lonesome in sweaty, boy infested arcades. Can't really talk about them either because more people are too in love with RPGs and Shooters.
It would be even more awesome if anyone out there plays The King of Fighters series or old Street Fighter games. Anyone? Yes? No? Maybe?
Just feel the need to talk to people about it since everyone close to me are into other things ;___;
What is your fav game? Who is your best character? Why does that game suck?

Basically, you go and nominate your favorite female character from any fanon. It's not totally clear what we're nominating them for, but I'm assuming it's something like "Most Awesome Female Character." (...what the fuck do I know. It's supposed to be fun, I guess.)

BoA is doing a duet with popular American singer Akon, it has been announced. She is featured on a song on the album "Freedom+2," which Akon is releasing in Japan next month.

"Freedom+2" contains songs from Akon's third album "Freedom" that was released last year in the U.S. The song "Beautiful" from that album was originally done with Kardinall Offishall and Colby O'Donis, but Akon decided to make a new version with a female artist from Asia for the upcoming album. Akon decided to offer the collaboration to BoA, who just made her American debut with an album in March.

"Freedom+2" goes on sale on August 5. On the same day, "Beautiful" will be made available for chaku-uta download as well.

Huzzah, I am years behind my time and ma FINALLY buying a PS2 (now that they're nice and cheap) to join my genesis, gameboy color, N64, and Dreamcast. I am a little clueless when it comes to games and the selection is madly overwhelming. Considering I've rarely played any newer generation games, I'm getting a bit lost in my selections. So I thought I'd give you guys some tidbits about what sort of things I like and don't like and see if anyone has any suggestions.

1) No sports games. NO. SPORTS. GAMES.

2) I struggle with even an N64 controller having Too Many Buttons. I haven't really been a 'serious' gamer since like... the sega master system. So I'm not a big fan of games that involve me having to use EVERY available button to do very complicated things.

3) Puzzle type things tend to appeal to me, and mini games.

4) I keep thinking I'd like RPGs, but I've never actually played any. So maybe one that's not CRAZY long and involved so I could get a feel for that kind of game.

5) I like good old fashioned person vs person fighting games, so any particularly good ones you know of would be awesome.

6) Any fun random games that you would consider a Must Have for a well rounded PS2 game collection.

That's about it I suppose, any help would be GREATLY appreciated <3
