Peachy Project Updates

Peach-ArrowNET has been pretty dormant for the last few months. I figure it's time to check in and make sure we're all on the same page.

No, Peach-ArrowNET and its family of sites have not been abandoned. I'm still working on things, but real life commitments (as they say) have slowed the progress. I am in the midst of a heavy academic quarter and will continue to attend classes through next spring (hopefully not so many at a time).

Because the Current Projects page is a more generalized, idealistic projection than anything else, here's an outline of what's actually being worked on:

1. Currently Peach-ArrowNET is getting streamlined so as to make both updating and navigating the site list easier. This will probably (hopefully) be uploaded by the end of the month
2. Instinct is having its discography revamped. A better layout should follow eventually, but I make no promises.
   
3. Gloriosa's image galleries are being transferred to Gallery2 (see Ayu-VogueNET's gallery for an example). Making the whole domain public has been put on the backburner for awhile to focus on other projects.
4. Ayu-VogueNET's shopping guide is being re-organized and dramatically amended to make it easier to navigate and more comprehensive
5. Strife will have Crisis Core and 10th Anniversary Ultimania updates by July.
6. When I feel Strife is in decent shape, Melody and Forget Me Not will receive their due attention.

The quarter ends in early June. Although the annual magazine has been shipped out to the printer, proof approved, etc, I still have four papers to finish by the end of the quarter. Do not expect any major updates until mid-June. 

Fanlistings and Ayu-Vogue.net's news blog will continue to be updated regularly.

I have to apologize to both domain  visitors and LJ friends that I haven't been around much.  I'm about a month into a heavy academic quarter with a lot of work obligations, and, hey!  Let's throw in a bad cold, just for kicks.  To be honest, I think a lot of my absence has to do with my taking on too many projects at once.  I have a lot of great things planned for Peach-Arrow and her sister networks, but the list has grown to an intimidating length; I don't know here to start!  I'm afraid I haven't been using the little spare time I have to really tackle the major problems. 

Regardless, several Ayu fanlistings have new members, as did Gospel Decay and Love & Honesty.

In addition to the previous announcement of Shiina Ringo's step into the global market, Instinct has also been updated with the cover art for her new solo album and concert DVD.

Forget Me Not's gallery has been revised to include several gorgeous scans donated by Alex.  Partner In Crime's official art gallery has also been re-organized in a similar manner.


I hope to give this update journal a simpler layout -- perhaps in the next few hours -- so please excuse the mess.

Back and still very busy (exams! D:)   I'd like to re-organize the main domain but I'm not sure when I'll have time to actually do this...

All of the Ayu fanlistings have been moved to a sub-domain for the sake of my sanity.  A re-direct has been set up, but it'd be appreciated if you could change any links.  Members have also been updated

Strife has two new testimonials and the fanlisting has new members.  I also added a portal page for Gloriosa to make the transition a little less disorienting.  Midgar-RockORG has received a similar page; the FFVII fanlisting also has new members.

Partners in Crime has a sad "Voices" section and a link update.

Instinct had a fairly large discography update with the title and tracklisting for her new solo album, her latest concert DVD, and two new singles. There are also new codes, one new LJ icon, and a links clean-up.

Peach-ArrowNET's links page was also cleaned up.

Gloriosa has new Itadaki Street art and screen captures along with some small Crisis Core caps.

Vogue has an added transcript from her CNN Interview along with updated chart stats for several of her main albums.

Gloriosa has a new DC wallpaper.

7th Heaven, Gospel Decay et al have new members.

Gloriosa was re-organized and Xanga shrank back in fear.

No big updates for a while; in the meantime, a preview of a possible new layout for Vogue (which had a brief PV list update I forgot to announce yesterday):

Several housekeeping changes were made around the domains and more will be uploaded eventually.

Probably the most notable of these updates is the addition of favicons at several of the sub-domains (Tifa, Marlene, Strife and Zelda thus far) and Gloriosa's promised jukebox update.

Made some brief -- mostly aesthetic -- changes around Lamb.

7th Heaven has new members while Strife has two new testimonials.

Gloriosa had a pseudo-update at the jukebox after a botched upgrade. Expect a more thorough update this weekend.

Gloriosa has a new official CC screenshot and Strife has a new testimonial.

New Ayu-related FL is expected in the next week. I know you're all excited.

Gloriosa has moved to http://gloriosa.midgar-rock.org

A large chunk of Midgar-RockORG's content will be made public this weekend. For now, YOU, 7th Heaven, Gospel Decay have new members.

Gloriosa's AC screen gallery received a fairly large (not to mention overdue) update. The "Official" screen gallery has been replaced with two new galleries with higher quality screens divided by size. In addition, there are now screen caps from the Japanese and US (mostly Japanese) DVD menus as well as the bonus EBgames disc. Finally, some of the old, lower quality trailer screen captures have been brought back for nostalgia's sake.

Vogue has several new 100x100 icons as does Instinct.

Gospel Decay, 7th Heaven, Forget Me Not and Treasure have new members. The fanlisting for Ayu's NEVER EVER has a new 50x50 code.

In an effort to make it look like something is actually getting done, Gloriosa has DC wallpaper by new artist Raven and official scans donated by Chloe.

YOU and Gospel Decay are among the fanlistings to get new members over the last few days.

Gospel Decay has new fan art by Caroline and new members.

Gloriosa has two new wallpapers from Advent Children.

Hemisphere has a new link and some fixed... stuff.

Happy Christina Aguilera and Dirge of Cerberus day! I'm off to get Back to Basics in about in a couple minutes, and I'll have my pre-ordered DoC this afternoon. After seven lonely months of sitting on a shelf in my room, the DoC boxset will finally be complete.

Edit: DC shipment got delayed until tomorrow. When I have work and stuff across town. Figures.
