I actually won something in the drawing! I wasn't expecting it (and managed to scribble, like, all over my shirt when I was suddenly stuck balancing a dog and a signature slip), but it's definitely a pleasant surprise.  I haven't had time to listen to the whole album let alone really process it yet, but it's really fun so far. It doesn't have that fantastic pacing that builds and builds like Secret's opening tracks did, but it hits you hard right from the get go and hasn't let up yet.  Pretty intense!

I like "(don't) Leave me alone" a little more on my second listen.  I'm still fairly disappointed she chose to recycle "1 LOVE"'s amazing hook, but it's a fun song.

I've been updating Ayu-VogueNET's news blog but not announcing it; I need to get the RSS feeds going on the index...  Real updates later!

I didn't remember Chainsaw Guy entering this early in the game.

I like how whenever I sit down to get site-work done, there's suddenly a million other things that just have to be dealt with now. Like rap-blaring neighbors. Or tornadoes.

Vox account FTW. rydia is made of awesome. I also got adventurous and started one of those Last.fm things everyone was into (and consequently over), like, a million years ago.

Vogue now has DVD screens of "Startin'", "Born To Be...", "BLUE BIRD", and "Beautiful Fighters". I should have scanned the CD+DVD covers but didn't think that far ahead. As far as PVs go, I also fixed a little mix up of directors for "BLUE BIRD" and "Beautiful Fighters".

I decided to move the "Theme Song" section at Strife to "Man" and reduced the coverage to "CALLING".

Vogue has an updated shopping guide and a new song list added to the jukebox that will hopefully help new fans.

LOVEppears is the name of Ayu's second album, and I like Ayu so... I needed a new Yahoo! account, and plain old "loveppears" was taken, so I added the "lala" onto it. After making my Yahoo! account, I started using the name for everything else because I'm not very bright; I can't handle multiple usernames.

The hiatus over at the Jak II fanlisting has been extended until Monday. I sent the new owner another e-mail, and if I don't hear back by Monday, it will either go to the next person on the list or be closed. All other fanlistings up for adoption have found new homes, which will hopefully be posted by the end of the week?

As a little FYI, I'll be spending almost all of this week finishing up our University undergrad magazine, so don't expect a lot of updates.

Edit: fixed the repeat news over at Vogue and tweaked some of the info at Strife (updated the "appearances" section with release dates and ratings, "Aeris" got some corrections, and... something else). Hopefully more real updates will be made next weekend.

Wait! An artbook came with the Limited Edition KHII strategy guide? EBGames lied to me! :o What kind of stuff is in it (like, Cloud and Co renders?)? Is it worth returning my copy and fighting for a real Limited Edition one?

!!!! I must get this! I bet it has all those beautiful grayscale renders in it, too! I'd feel better getting it from Amazon before I ordered from this place, though. Has anyone found it listed elsewhere? Do these guys even ship internationally? :o (Edit: looks like they don't yet...?)

Girl Scout cookies came today, so I am in an infinitely better mood despite the rain. Actual updates tomorrow or Friday.
